On Tuesday, May 7, Wareham Fire Department responded to a car fire on Route 25. 

“The fire was started by a mechanical issue, and the driver pulled over and all occupants were able to safely exit the vehicle,” said Fire Chief John Kelley.

Wareham Fire Engines 1 and 5 arrived to the scene and extinguished the fire, according to the Fire Department. The Department said there were no injuries.
