Looking ahead to a year full of events

From Easter egg hunts to parades, various town events are underway to provide the community with opportunities to come together.

Five events were approved at the Tuesday, Feb. 17 Select Board meeting. Each event will result in the usage of sidewalks, roads and signage from the town.

The Onset Bay Association requested approval for four annual events: the Easter egg hunt on April 4, summer concert series starting on June 24, sidewalk chalk festival on Aug. 15 and Harvest Moon Festival on Sept. 26.

The annual Veterans Day parade was approved for Nov. 11.
