Remembrance Day event at Wareham Dog Park

Celebrate the power of pet love and remember the furry friends who loved us more.

Wareham Dog Park will be holding its first Remembrance Day event Saturday, Nov. 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. at 74 Maple Springs Road. 

In memory of passed pets, the community is invited to plant daffodil bulbs in the remembrance garden in the center of the park’s trail.  The site prepared, so no kneeling or digging will be involved. 

Creative activities at the park include a rainbow banner to write pets’ names, story walk, PAWsitive Rocks painting, gallery of youth & adult visual & literary pieces, materials to create messages, memory tokens and grief resources. 

The rain date is Sunday, Nov. 2.
