Harvest Moon Festival to return with a bang

Sep 16, 2022

The Harvest Moon Festival is fast approaching, set to take place next weekend on Saturday, Sept. 24, with fireworks returning to light the skies.

The event will take place at the Onset Pier, Bayview Park and the bandshell at 186 Onset Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In the event of rain, the event will be scheduled for the following day on Sunday, Sept 25.

Live music from 10  a.m. to 12 p.m. at the gazebo in Bay View Park with Daddy O! 50’s swing and rockabilly.

Also in Bay View Park, there will be face painting, balloon art, and medieval handicrafts and demonstrations.

There will also be live music at the bandshell from noon to 5 p.m. The schedule is as follows:

  • 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., Dennis and Dennis-Bluegrass
  • 1:20 p.m. to 2:20 p.m., 53 South-Acoustic Rock Covers
