John A. Bozza, 94
WAREHAM – John A. Bozza, 94, of Wareham, died Thursday, April 2, 2026 at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. He was the husband of the late Marlene A. (LeBlanc) Bozza.
Born in East Boston, he was the son of the late Samuel S. & Anna M. (D’Estes) Bozza. He graduated from Brighton High School welding program. A previous resident of Lynn, he moved to Wareham in 1972.
Mr. Bozza was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He served with the 69th Transportation Battalion in country and was awarded the Korean service medal, a Presidential Unit Citation and Meritorious Unit Citation.
Mr. Bozza worked as a nuclear welder in the shipbuilding industry for General Dynamics in Quincy and Electric Boat in Quonset, RI. He enjoyed camping, especially at Sebago Lake in Maine.
Survivors include his children, Lynda Lucas of Wareham, Annemarie Andrade of Carver, and Laura Kimball of Lady Lake, FL; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, the late John A. Bozza, Jr.; his sister, the late Philimena Jablonski, and his brother, the late Albert S. Bozza.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, High St., Wareham on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 10 AM. Please go directly to church. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Bridgewater.
