Margaret Jane “Peggy” (Cribben) Harback, 66, of Onset, died Oct. 13, 2020, in Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. She was the wife of Harry W. Harback and the daughter of the late John and Alice (Burbo) Cribben.

She was born in Brockton and lived in Onset since 1971.

Peggy worked at Ocean Spray and R.F. Morse for many years and, most recently, at the Gardening Center at Lowes.  

She was an avid gardener and talented craftsman. She was the matriarch of the family and the beloved “Ma” to her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren, with whom she shared a special bond and many memories. 

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Harry W. Harback of Onset; a son, Christopher Harback of Wareham; a daughter, Nicole Kelly of Splendora, TX; 3 grandchildren, John, Paul and Julianna Kelly; 2 great grandchildren, Sadie and Reece Kelly; 2 brothers, Michael Cribben of Aspen, FL and Kerry Cribben of Brockton; a sister, Patricia Nolan of Middleboro. She was the sister of the late John Cribben and Mary Monte. 

Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, 2020 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. (Appropriate COVID-19 protocol will be observed including the use of face masks, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity).
