Wareham runner Bentley University’s top finisher for 11th straight race

Wareham High School graduate Paige Fehskens, now a junior at Bentley University, was the number one runner for her college’s cross country team on Nov. 4 during the Northeast-10 Conference Championships at the Hopkinton State Park.

Fehskens, Bentley’s top finisher in every meet since the start of the 2017 season, ran the 6,000-meter course in 23:12.41 to take 25th place overall. A total of 144 runners took part in the event. The team results had Bentley tenth among 15 with a score of 246. The Falcons were one of seven to place their top six in the top 94.

Bentley’s next competition is the NCAA Division II East Regional Nov. 17 in Bethpage, N.Y.
