Drivers are urged to use caution on Cranberry Highway in East Wareham after thunderstorms brought heavy rain Saturday evening, flooding several sections of the road.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Saturday evening in southern Plymouth County. Storms brought lightning and heavy rains, which left sections of highway in front of the former 99 Restaurant and near the Red Brook Road intersection under several inches of water.

The flood advisory was issued at 4:25 p.m. and ended at 6:30 p.m.
