Made from straw, stuffing, and even a bag of sugar, diverse scarecrows are popping up throughout town as part of the Onset Bay Association's first ever Scarecrow Festival.
The contest will be held until October 31. Prizes will be awarded in six categories: Whimsical, Wareham Business, Children's Clubs, Organizations, Family, and All Our Neighbors.
