Mudstone Studios (www.mudstonestudios.com) in Wareham, MA is offering a  6 week clay handbuilding class called “Gargoyles,”  beginning on Monday, June 23rd, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. 

Gargoyles Class

The name Gargoyle comes from the sound these creatures make while they regurgitate water from your rooftop. These mythical creatures can be a really interesting addition to your garden scape, porch or downspouts. Make your very own during this hands on, 6-week class in sculpture. Anyone can do this! Open to adults and mature teens.

This class is an immense amount of fun to take, and truly everyone can do it with the excellent guidance of Ellen Blomgren, the instructor and a ceramic sculptor. (www.ellenblomgren.weebly.com)

Wheel Throwing classes are 6 weeks long, and new sessions begin on the following dates:

June 24th Tuesdays 6-9

July 10 Thursdays 3-6

July 11 Fridays 6-9

August 29 Fridays 6-9

September 9 Tuesdays 6-9

Handbuilding classes that we are offering are the Gargoyles class, A Sculpture for Teens and 20’s class will start in Early July, and a Sea Sculptures class will begin on August 13th on Wednesdays. 

We are located at 3065 Cranberry Highway # B20 in the back of the building, and our Open Studio hours are Monday 6-9, Wednesday 12-3 and Saturday 1:30 to 4:30. Drop in to see what we are all about!
