It’s a New Year, you’re a new you, but there’s still always events going on in Wareham. This week, attend a cornhole toss or a meat raffle at Redmen Hall, or start the New Year right with Laughter Yoga or with a Recovery Walk.

Friday, Jan. 5

Recovery walk and talk
Richie’s Road to Recovery presents a free Recovery Walk and Talk, every Friday at 10 a.m. To join the walks, meet at the Lyman Reserve, Head of the Bay Road, by the picnic tables in the dirt parking lot. Text Richie at 339-832-5387 with any questions.

January meat raffle
Redmen Hall will host its monthly meat raffle at Redmen Hall, 745 Main Street.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and a meal will be served at 6:30 p.m. Raffles start at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 6
Cornhole tournament
Welcome in the New Year with an indoor cornhole tournament.
It will take place at Redmen Hall, 745 Main Street. Registration starts at noon, with a cost of $20 per person. The festivities start at 1 p.m.
The event features a blind draw for teams, cash prizes, beer, food and fun.
