This summer, Dartmouth Public Libraries kicks off AuthorsLive, a new online service connecting local residents with bestselling authors and national thought leaders. 

The series begins with Alka Joshi, author of New York Times bestselling books, "The Henna Artist" and "The Secret Keeper of Jaipur."   Joshi immigrated to the US from India when she was 9 years old and published her debut novel (soon to also debut on Netflix) at the age of 62.  In a live, online interview on Thursday, July 7th at 9:00 PM, Joshi will discuss her writing, inspiration, and what it’s been like working on the Netflix series based on her books. She will also answer questions from the audience. A recording of the event will be available for those unable to participate live.
