Cookbook Sale to Benefit the Friends of the Wareham Free Library Comes with a Free Chance to Win a KitchenAid Mixer

Oct 11, 2010

Mouthwatering, economical, and family-favorite recipes by Wareham library supporters, community leaders and neighbors make for great reading! More Cooking with Friends, volume two of the Friends of the Wareham Free Library cookbook , will be on sale at the library during the week of October 19th through 23rd during library hours. The library is located at 59 Marion Road and is open Tuesday through Saturday.

The cookbook, dedicated to the late Mary Jane Pillsbury, the library's director for 25 years, is filled with wonderful recipes, quotes about reading and libraries, and the names of your friends and neighbors who submitted recipes in many categories. A great value at $10. There is even a chapter of recipes submitted by children in their own words. Priceless!

For each cookbook you purchase, you will receive a ticket for a free drawing which includes a new KitchenAid mixer, among other terrific prizes, such as cookbooks and cooking items. What a great opportunity to win something wonderful for yourself or for someone on your holiday gift list. The drawing will be held October 26th.

All proceeds of the sale will benefit the work of the Friends of the Wareham Free Library, Inc.

The Friends are now accepting donations of gently used books to be used for the Holiday Sale at the library in December,.
