Cranberry Country Chamber of Commerce 44th Annual Meeting
On March 8th, the Cranberry Country Chamber of Commerce held its 44th Annual Meeting at the Rosebrook Event Center in Wareham. Hosting over 140 members, the Chamber honored our Business of the Year, BAMSI, an organization that is in the business of bringing people and services together, and working to enrich the lives of children, families, and individuals. Headquartered in Brockton, they have service locations in many towns including Lakeville and Middleboro. Our Business Person of the year chosen is Bryan Parrish of Bryan Parrish Home Inspections located in Bridgewater, and he serves all of our communities that we represent and is president of the Bridgewater Business Association. Voted as Volunteer of the Year is Kevin “Quack” Quackenbush of American Dream Team Real Estate. Quack is an Ambassador with our Chamber in addition to participating on our Community Involvement Council. He is also a member of the Middleboro Rotary and participates in many charitable and community related organziations in our Chamber represented towns.
Our Board of Directors were sworn in by Senator Michael Rodgrigues, and our Annual Meeting award winners were presented with citations by Senator Marc Pacheco and State Representative Norman Orrall. We also honored two retiring board members, Glenn Sherman and John Olivieri who have served on our board for over 24 years.
