Fasting While Furious: How I Turned Anger and Sadness into Motivation for Weight Loss

Join the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries on Thursday, April 7, at 6:30 p.m. to hear local author and obesity specialist Dr. Kevin Gendreau share the inspirational story of his 125 lb. weight loss and how it transformed his life. Dr. Gendreau’s presentation will be held at Dartmouth North Branch Library.
Dr. Gendreau earned his bachelor’s degree at Boston University before completing his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed residencies in Family Medicine at Cambridge Health Alliance and Carney Hospital through Tufts University. He has also received an Honorarium for Prostate Cancer Research from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Gendreau is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and is board certified in obesity medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. He works at the Fresh Start Program through South Coast Health.
