The Gleason Family Y is taking over the Wareham JBA this season, The Wareham JBA has been a long-lasting program for the youth in this area, and the Y is looking to continue the excellent tradition of Wareham basketball with a YMCA feel. The Y will not be stopping our YBL program.  Your child will build relationships with other players and coaches while developing their basketball skills in games and practices for a competitive team experience. Times will be announced in the future & we are seeking volunteer coaches for the program.  

• The season will begin the week of Dec 5^th with clinics here at the Gleason Y for both JBA and YBL: weeks 1-2 will be skill evaluation and a draft by coaches. 
• Div 1 & 2 will start their regular season play the week of Jan. 9th
• JBA will have weekly practices, followed by games on Saturdays.
• JBA Div. 1 - 6th, 7th, and 8^th graders - competitive with 1 weekday practice and 1 game on Saturday held at the middle school
• JBA Div. 2 -3rd, 4th, and 5^th graders - competitive with 1 weekday practice at the middle school and 1 game on Sat held at Gleason
• COST: Competitive Level - JBA Division 1 & 2 = $100 for Members; JBA Division 1 & 2 = $120 for Non Members

We are continuing YBL as an instructional & developmental program for 8–12-year-olds on Friday’s and 5–7-year-old on Saturday’s at the Gleason Family Y. COST: Development level - YBL Division Ages 5-12 = $100 for Y Members;  YBL Division Ages 5-12 = $120 for Non Members
