Join us for the MAC’s newest exhibition, featuring works by Lori Bradley & John Irwin.  The opening reception will be held Friday, April 12 from 6-8pm.  The exhibition runs April 12 - May 18, 2019.  

Additionally, both John Irwin and Lori Bradley will each offer a one-day workshop in the MAC Studio. Cost: $30 for MAC members/$35 for non-members. Register online here.

John Irwin will teach Expressive Painting with Acrylics on Saturday, April 27, 12-2pm.  In this one-day workshop, students are encouraged to paint rapidly using emotion and feeling to create works of art that will focus on atmosphere, movement, and energy.  Using photographs, drawings, and memory, students will complete their paintings during the 2-hour session.  Instructor John Irwin will take students step by step through the process, using live demonstrations, techniques, specialized brushes and other “tricks of the trade” he has learned through forty years of painting experience.

Lori Bradley will teach Paint Your Pet (or Other Animals) on Saturday, May 11, 12-2pm.  In this one-day workshop, students will focus on painting birds or other animals.  Students may use photo references or even choose to paint their own pets!

Note: These workshops will be held in the MAC Studio, and participants must be able to ascend and descend a short stairway.
