The Gleason Family YMCA will host its Food & Wine Tasting, Toast of the Coast, on Friday, September 27, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Marion Music Hall at 164 Front St., Marion. The event will feature a silent auction and live auction of goods by guest auctioneer Rep. Susan Williams Gifford, wine and beer offerings, a wine pull raffle, and a selection of food items from local restaurants and caterers, including oysters. 

“Y Mystery Bags” will also be for sale. For $20, participants can choose a random bag containing an item worth at least $25, including restaurant gift certificates, movie passes, and gift cards.

Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at the Welcome Center Desk, online at ymcasouthcoast.org, or at the door the night of the event. Proceeds from this night benefit the Gleason Family YMCA Annual Campaign, which provides financial assistance to those that otherwise cannot afford the YMCA experience one their own.
