1940s-style performance to benefit veterans through Honor Flight New England

Apr 7, 2017

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Massachusetts will host Letters from Home, America's Bombshell Duo, on Sunday, April 23, at the First Congregational Church in Wareham.

Starring Courtney Groves and Erinn Diaz, the patriotic performance features songs and tap-dancing in the spirit and style of the 1940s. Doors open at 6 p.m. The show starts at 7 p.m.

The event will benefit Honor Flight New England, which transports senior and terminally ill veterans to Washington D.C. at no cost to the veterans, where they can visit war memorials and reflect upon time served in the armed forces.

Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased online at https://vfwma.eventbright.com. Those without access to a computer can purchase tickets at the Dudley L. Brown VFW in Onset, or call organizer Bob Graser at 508-759-1594.

The First Congregational Church is located at 11 Gibbs Ave.
