A 2-car crash on Marion Road sent one driver to the hospital with moderate injuries.

The crash, which occurred just before 7 p.m., occurred when one car rear-ended another car near Wareham Country Market. Two ambulances were sent to the scene, for occupants of both cars. The driver of the vehicle that rear-ended the other was taken to Tobey Hospital with moderate injuries.

The occupants of the car which was hit, a family of two adults and two children, were at first thought to need medical attention. However, after inspection by Wareham EMS, they refused treatment and drove themselves to Tobey Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
