The 3rd Annual Scotty Monteiro Jr. Foundation Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 19 at the Bay Pointe Club in Onset.

The tournament starts at 12 p.m. and registration starts at 11 a.m. There will be golf prizes, a 50/50 raffle, auctions, and dancing until midnight.

Tickets are $125 per person and include golf, a cart, and a steak dinner. Anyone who registers and pays by May 1 will save $25.

Visit www.scottymonteirojrfoundation.org to download an application for participation in the tournament. Checks can be made payable to the Scotty Monteiro Jr. Foundation and mailed along with applications to P.O. Box 252, Onset, MA 02558.

Payments can also be made online via paypal by visiting the foundation's website, but applications must still be sent by fax, e-mail, or mail.

Scotty Monteiro Jr. was murdered on September 5, 2009. The Scotty Monteiro Jr. Foundation was formed after his death to prevent anyone else from going through a similar tragedy. The Foundation seeks to educate, bring awareness, and support Wareham's youth in order to "Stop The Violence." All Proceeds from the Golf Tournament will go to the Scotty Monteiro Jr. Foundation.
