Grumpy’s 8th Annual Cranberry Harvest 5k Run/Walk will be held at 9 a.m. on November 2 at the A.D. Makepeace Company at 150 Tihonet Rd. 

 

The event is family-friendly and open to walkers, runners, and joggers. 

 

All entrants will receive a catered lunch, and prizes will be awarded in different age categories. 

 

A special display of Robert “Grumpy” Conway’s nature-inspired photography will be available for viewing during the post race festivities. 

 

The race is sponsored by the Cranberry Educational Foundation Scholarship Program that offers scholarships with preference to students who are furthering their education in the fields of cranberry agriculture, environmental or natural resources. Students from cranberry growing communities are eligible to apply for scholarships.

 

Those who register early at www.grumpy5k.racewire.com will receive a free t-shirt. Registration costs $25 for adults and $15 for kids between the ages of 4 and 18 years old. Registration will also take place on site before the race.
