Onset Foursquare Church will hold the 9th Annual Trunk’n Treat on Oct.31 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The event is a safe alternative to neighborhood trick-or-treating. 

Starting at Lopes Field on 301 Onset Ave., themed car trunks, trucks and vans will be decorated and loaded with candy, which will be distributed along a prescribed route. Children will participate in the carnival-like games with prizes and will enjoy hot dogs and drinks at the end of the route.

Individuals interested in hosting a car trunk or truck, must call the church at 508-291-1595 for the guidelines and an application. Vehicles must be pre-approved
in order to participate. The deadline for applying is October 16.

This a free event and open to the community.
