ABC Disposal, the company that Wareham contracted to pick up residents’ trash and recycling, has been sold.

The buyer, Waste Connections U.S. Holdings Inc., is the third largest solid waste management company in North America, with operations in 41 states and six Canadian provinces.

But Town Administrator Derek Sullivan said that residents won’t see their service change, as the new company will honor the town’s contract. He added that the personnel that the town regularly interacts with will stay the same.
