Agnes C. Murray, of Cotuit, MA, passed away peacefully in her home on November 30, 2019, with loved ones by her side. Agnes was the beloved wife of Peter C. Murray for 61 years. 

She was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, to James and Regina Eccleston in 1939. She was the beloved mother of Mark Murray and his wife Lilly, Stephen Murray and his wife Shirley, and Lynne Murray Smith and her husband Robert, and beloved grandmother to Joshua, David, Lydia, Caleb, Sarah, and Alex Murray and Avery Smith. 

Agnes was the Senior Class President of Wareham High School, Class of 1957. Agnes lived in Cotuit for 58 years and served as Cotuit Fire and Water District Treasurer for 42 years.  

Services will be private at Mosswood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod.
