Albert T. Hennessey, 80
Albert T. Hennessey, 80, of Wareham died July 22. He was the husband of Patricia J. (Gallerani) Hennessey and the son of the late Francis X. and Marie (O’Handley) Hennessey.
He was born in Boston and lived in Wareham for more than 50 years. He graduated from De La Salle Academy in Newport, Rhode Island in 1954. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years.
Mr. Hennessey retired as a United Parcel Service driver after 30 years.
He enjoyed being with his family, puttering around the house and fixing things and summer vacations.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patricia J. (Gallerani) Hennessey; two sons, Mark Hennessey and his wife, Jana of Wareham and Robert Hennessey and his wife Carrie of Wareham; three grandchildren, Madeline, Abigail and Mackenzie Hennessey; a step grandson, Cody Martin; a sister, Katherine Radosevich of Portsmouth, Rhode Island; a half sister, Elaine Ellis of Rhode Island.
His Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 1 in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
