The results are in! The Wareham Village Association has determined the winning participants of last week's annual Christmas Parade. The winners had particularly creative floats or presentations in the parade.

The first-, second- and third-place winners took home a trophy with, appropriately, Santa on top.

Coming in first place this year is the Boys & Girls Club. The Club's float kicked off its "Kukoo for the Boys & Girls Club" fundraising event, during which the community and local artisans will design birdhouses and other bird-related pieces to be auctioned at a gala in June, 2011. Kukoo was perched among branches on the float.

The second-place winner was the Old Company Store and Tihonet Village Market wagon, which featured Santa.

And coming in third was resident Howie Smith's antique fire truck, which carried Frosty the Snowman through town.
