Benjamin T. Daley, 51, building contractor

Benjamin T. Daley, 51, of Boston, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Sunday, May 9, 2010.

Daley was born November 2, 1958 in Norfolk, VA. He is survived by his parents, Robert E. and Rose C. Daley, of Carver, and his beloved daughter Aprile Rose Daley, of Harrisville, RI. He was the brother of Vanessa Coles, of Wareham, Mark Daley, of Spokane, WA, and David Daley, of Sanford, Maine. He was the uncle of Joshua and Veronica Coles and Ethan and Adam Daley. He has many, many, many cousins and dear friends including Tracy Davidson, of Marshfield.

Benjamin graduated from Franklin High School in 1976. After graduation, he honorably served his country in the Army. He attended Westfield State College. He was a successful building contractor in both Franklin and Buzzards Bay.

Through his evangelistic and volunteer work, he responded twice to the Katrina relief efforts in Mississippi and Louisiana as well helping in volunteer construction projects in Peru, Boston, and Bangor, Maine.

Benjamin had compassion for helping all of God's people without reservation. Benjamin will be remembered with great affection and will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Funeral service will be Saturday, May 15, at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at 4 p.m. Interment will be private. Visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
