BMW hockey picks up a 7-0 win

The Bourne-Mashpee-Wareham high school girls hockey team continues to play hard-nosed hockey, getting the best of squads from Martha's Vineyard and Franklin over the weekend of January 7.

The unified team beat Martha's Vineyard 7-0 on Saturday, January 7 before dropping a 2-1 nail-biter to Franklin on Sunday.

On the Vineyard, Anna Richards was the first to score for the BMW girls, off a feed from Elizabeth St. Germaine, who would score a solo shot to start the second period.

Tess McDonald netted the next goal of the game on an assist from Brittney St. Germaine. Brittney St. Germaine would assist on the next goal as well, off the stick of Brandi Masse. Dylan Innis found the net on a feed from Emily Humfryes and Isabella Powers. Kate Albretsen scored the sixth goal, while Shayna Santiago rounded out the day's scoring.

Ariel St. Germaine earned the shut-out in net.

Against Franklin, Natalia Gordon scored BMW's lone goal on a feed from MacDonald and Humfryes.
