Bob Heroux

Dec 5, 2023

ONSET - It is with great sorrow and sadness that the family of Bob Heroux announces his peaceful passing on December 2nd at his home in Onset, Massachusetts, enveloped in the love of his family and friends. Bob was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to his loving mom, Claire Y. (Sabourin) Heroux, and his loving dad, Robert F. Heroux. Bob graduated high school from Our Lady of Providence in Providence, Rhode Island where he served as senior class president. He then went on to Saint Michael’s College in Winooski, Vermont before obtaining his JD from the University of Bridgeport in CT.

Bob was an attorney who practiced with his wife for well over thirty years. He was passionate about his clients and their welfare. He was a lover of bookstores, movies, thoroughly enjoyed days at the beach, golfing, and his beloved family vacations. His sense of humor and antics are legendary. He could make anyone laugh, even jurors and judges.

Bob is survived by his college sweetheart and wife of 37 years, Sue Gallagher-Heroux and his beloved daughter Katie. He is also survived by his sister, Marybeth Quinn and her husband Brett Quinn and their children Brendan Quinn and his wife Cara Christ, Ethan Quinn and his wife Zola Collins, his brother, Richard Heroux and his wife Pam Heroux, his beloved uncle, Reverend Monsignor Gerard Sabourin, his aunt, Connie Bissonette, and numerous cousins. He is also survived by his Irish in-laws and his beloved nephew Ricky Boe and his niece Kelly Travis and her husband Andrew Travis and their son who was the newest light of Bob’s life, Mack Travis.

While not gifted longevity, he was blessed with a wonderful family, the best of friends who were also family, a wife who will have an everlasting crush on him, and the most loving cherished daughter every dad would be envious of. Until we meet again!
