The Boys & Girls Club of Greater New Bedford/Wareham will hold its 4th Annual Kukoo Gala on Friday, June 20 at the Kittansett Club in Marion.

The Kukoo project includes year-long programming from club members involving birds and their habitats. They are seeking original birdhouses for a silent and live auction.

Most of the birdhouses to be featured will have been created by local artists, craftsmen, architects, designers and celebrities as well as those created throughout The Birdhouse Project by local youth at the Boys & Girls Club of Wareham.

Any media, such as wood, metal, ceramic, glass, etc., are accepted, and the more wow-factor the better.

Contestants and spectators are encouraged to attend the event, however, they can still participate by donating an original birdhouse or bird-related art objects.

Paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry and more will also be presented. The guest emcee will be Scott Record, a singing/comedy impressionist.
