Breast Cancer Awareness games to be played on Friday, October 9th, WHS Girls' Soccer and Field Hockey
On Friday, October 9th two of Wareham High School's Girls' Sports teams will be taking to the field, and supporting awareness for breast cancer.
Friday, at 3:30 p.m. WHS Girls' Soccer will be playing at Spillaine Field against Bourne in their 6th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness game. During halftime, the team will be raising funds during their 'Miracle Minute' proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the cure.
Friday, also at 3:30 p.m. WHS Field Hockey will be playing at the field across from the Middle School at 3:30 pm against Case for their breast cancer awareness match. The team will be selling baked goods and pink bracelets for donation to a family at Wareham High School.
The athletes will also be wearing different colored uniforms from their regular season attire. On Friday you'll find them wearing pink for awareness.
