The first annual Brent Hastings Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 27 at the Bay Pointe Country Club at 1 p.m. The event will be followed by a dinner at the club.

The cost is $125 per golfer, and it will be a scramble style tournament with a shotgun start. There will also be prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin.

Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Herren Project via the Brent Hastings Memorial Fund. The Herren Project helps to increase awareness on the dangers of substance abuse and helps victims and families affected by it.

Those not interested in playing golf can still attend the dinner, which is $25 and will follow the golf tournament.
