Brief police pursuit ends with drug charges against Falmouth man
A Falmouth man is facing a litany of drug charges after his arrest on Thursday for failing to stop for police.

Officers Kevin Reilly and George Dionne signaled for Murphy to pull over, but the car continued for another mile on Cranberry Highway, weaving from lane to lane before finally stopping, according to police.
Murphy was arrested for failing to stop for police.
A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of several pills inside a plastic baggie later identified as amphetamine, three plastic baggies containing what may be heroin, along with one benzodiazepine and one amphetamine pill. Also discovered in the car was $3,030 cash.
Police have charged Murphy with the following: leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with property damage; failure to stop for police; marked lanes violations; possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance (heroin); possession of a Class B substance; possession of a Class C substance and possession of a Class E substance.
Murphy posted $1,000 bail and will be arraigned in Wareham District Court on June 20.
