Business boosters come together to promote Wareham

May 10, 2017

The Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce and New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce are joining forces to better serve the Wareham business community with a new membership program.

The program’s goal is to help businesses thrive in the town, whether it is through networking, business-to-business services, business-to-consumer services or professional development.

To help launch this initiative, the chambers will host a joint membership drive for the Wareham business community on June 1 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The “phone-a-thon” will be held at the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank branch location at 10 Rosebrook Place, Wareham.

Volunteers, ambassadors and board members of both chambers, who will be calling the Wareham business community, will offer special “Why Join Now” incentives, which are only redeemable during this membership drive special. The package for all new Wareham member signups will include over $2,000 worth of free and or discounted services from both chambers. The cost to join both chambers of commerce during this membership drive is $400.

If you are a Wareham business and would like more information about this joint membership program before the June 1 membership drive, contact Marie Oliva, president and CEO of the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber at 508-759-6000 ext. 12 or moliva@capecodcanalchamber.org.
