Tim Fay — co-founder of Stonestreet Corporation, the Rhode Island-based development company that bought the Bay Pointe Club in 2012 — will fund the town’s drone video of Onset Village, Town Planner Ken Buckland announced during the Wareham Redevelopment Authority’s July 15 meeting. 

The video will be used to highlight and promote Onset Village’s unique assets. The video will cost about $500 — significantly less than the initial cost estimate, which was between $12,000 and $15,000.

A similar video, which features downtown Wareham and the waterfront, is featured on the Discover Wareham site. That video was filmed by the Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development District. During the July 15 meeting, Buckland reported that SRPEDD said it could film an Onset Village drone video for $500.
