On February 20, 2023, Candy Lyn (Lewis) Irwin passed away at the age of 64 in Buzzards Bay, MA after a long courageous battle with cancer.  Candy is now relaxing in Heaven with her beloved cats Zippy, Pinkles and April.  

Candy is survived by her parents Frederick Lewis of FL and Carolyn Whitney of MA; her children, Sara Cammarano and Vincent Cammarano of Onset, MA; her siblings, Cheryl Comstock and Kevin Lewis of Onset, MA, and Diane Laurie (husband Scott) of Bradenton, FL, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Candy was born on April 19, 1958 in Boston, MA.  She grew up in Newton, MA and was a graduate of the class of 1976 from Newton North High School.  She loved spending her summers in Onset.  After living in Florida for 12 years, she moved to Wareham where she could once again spend time with family & friends in Onset.

Candy was an avid NE Patriots fan.  She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, and cross-stitching, taking great pleasure in givingher creations away as gifts to family & friends.

There will be a celebration of life planned for a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.
