A car crash wiped out the Onset Village sign at the intersection of Maine Avenue and East Central Avenue midday on Friday, June 12.
In photos provided to Wareham Week, a black SUV is seen driven up onto the hill where the sign was. Wareham Police and Emergency Medical Services are photographed responding to the scene.
It is unclear what caused the crash or if there are plans to repair the sign. The Wareham Police Department did not respond to Wareham Week's multiple requests for comment.
