A car and a pickup truck collided head-on near the Wareham Water Department on Cranberry Highway Tuesday night shortly after 9:30 p.m.

According to emergency broadcasts, the crash resulted in injuries, however, it’s unclear how many people were hurt and how seriously they were injured.

Wareham Police closed that section of Cranberry Highway to clear debris from the road. Both cars were towed from the scene.

Wareham Fire and EMS also responded.
