Casey Smith, 36
WAREHAM - Casey Smith of Carver, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 11, 2024 at the age of 36. Our family was not expecting for Casey’s life to be cut so short so soon. We are all devastated by this huge loss, and he will be forever missed.
Casey was born with a naturally sweet and kind soul, a heart of gold, a big smile for everyone he met and was always a joy to be around.
Casey’s caring spirit and generous heart could be felt by anyone he came in contact with. He had a special gift of not only seeing the good in people but bringing out the best in them as well.
Casey was born in Weymouth on June 11th 1988 to William and Janine Smith (Conti). He graduated from Old Colony Vocational School and worked at P & G / Gillette as Mold Shop Line Leader.
Casey was an avid lover of the outdoors and spent much of his time enjoying camping, fishing & his dirt bikes. His love for the outdoors brought out the happy free spirit that defined him.
Casey’s love for the outdoors were only surpassed by the love he had for his family and his two children Emma and Cody. Casey was a wonderful father. He adored Emma and Cody and continued to love them up to his death with his whole heart. Despite the challenges that come along with being a parent, Emma and Cody were always and will forever be the love of his life.
Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Casey will be missed more than any words could express but he will be forever in our hearts until we meet again.
Casey is survived by his father, William Smith of Wareham; his mother, Janine Smith (Conti) of Middleboro; his brother, Jason Smith of Clarksville, TN; and sisters, Nichole Covel (Smith) of Leavenworth, KS and Amanda Smith of Taunton; Casey’s two beautiful children, Emma and Cody Smith along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
