The Onset Bay Association’s annual Chalkfest will return on Saturday, Aug. 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year the family event will be held along the sidewalks of Wareham Town Hall.

Artists are invited to “chalk the walks” around Town Hall. 

Prizes will be awarded for “People’s Choice” and “Honorable Mention.” 

Rhode Island jazz singer Kim Trusty will play acoustic music at the event. The OBA asks that Chalkfest attendees wear masks if they are not vaccinated.

Registering for a square will cost $5. Vendors interested in participating in the juried craft fair can apply for a space to sell handmade items — it will cost $65 for a 10-foot by 10-foot space.
