Chris Coile music gives $1,000 to Elks scholarship fund
For months Chris Coile has been performing music at the Elks Lodge in Wareham to raise money for the Elks Lodge Scholarship fund. Coile has raised $1,000, all of which will go toward the scholarship fund, and will be matched by a donation from the Elks.
“We are very pleased to be partnered with Chris Coile to raise money for our scholarship program”, said Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge Robert Hurley. “This $1,000 will help a lot of kids from the local area continue with their education.”
Chairperson of the Elks Scholarship Fund Nichole Stahmer said, "This is a win for everyone. Our members and guests get to hear great music every Friday...and the real winners are the kids."
Coile plays rock and rock, and country classics, and recently released his first album, "Looking Back," and his second, "An Elvis Tribute."
High School Seniors who attend school in Wareham, Rochester, or Bourne are eligible to apply. Scholarships are handed out at each high school's award night.
