Wareham’s Church in the Pines will host its second annual Harvest Festival in Middleboro on Saturday, Oct. 14, but this time, with a completed pavilion.

Since it was founded almost 160 years ago, the church has been located in West Wareham. In 2013, they purchased 20 acres at 30 East Street in Middleboro.

From spring to fall, weekend services have been available at the Middleboro location. 

This past summer, the church got started on the construction of a pavilion that stretches 40 feet by 80 feet.

Now that it’s completed, church services are held there on Sundays and now the Harvest Festival will take place there, too.

The festival will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

This event is completely free and activities will include a bounce house, petting zoo, face painting, hayrides and live music.

There will be giveaways, crafts, food and more. 

Families are encouraged to dress in their costumes and there will be trick-or-treating opportunities at various stations.
