The First Congregational Church of Wareham will host a summer clearance sale in its Next to New Thrift Shop on August 31 and September 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.

Load a 13-gallon plastic bag with men's, women's, and children's summer clothing, and pay $5 for the entire bag.

The thrift store is located downstairs in the Rowland Thacher Fellowship Hall at 11 Gibbs Ave.

All proceeds go to the First Congregational Church of Wareham, which provides a number of community services to the area.
