Claire A. Wentzell, 84, of Rose Point, died Aug. 9 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. She was the widow of the late Roger D. Wentzell.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Irene (Mongeau) LaCasse. Raised in North Attleboro, she previously lived in Brockton before moving to Rose Point in Wareham.

Mrs. Wentzell was a homemaker, and a member of the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene in Wareham.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen M. Lussier and her husband Raymond of Cranston, RI, Linda Weiner and her husband Robert of Reddick, Florida, and Joellen Bentle and her husband Todd of Kissimmee, Florida; her brother, Gerald LaCasse of North Attleboro; five grandchildren, Rachael Shreves, Benjamin Weiner, David Lussier, Christopher Lussier, and Jenna Bentle; her great grandchildren, Mikaela Shreves, and Brayden Dial.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 15 at the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, 6 Rogers Ave., Wareham at 10:30 a.m.
