Selectmen Tuesday granted a Class II license to sell used cars to Kevin Andrews and Nathan Mello at their A&M Auto at 252 Onset Avenue in Onset.

Despite the favorable vote, some members of the Board of Selectmen expressed concern throughout the discussion.

Selectman Judith Whiteside questioned the applicant's familiarity with Massachusetts “lemon laws,” Selectman Teitelbaum wanted assurance that the applicant's LLC was on file with the Secretary of The Commonwealth—of which Wareham Town Council soon-after confirmed, and Selectman Steve Holmes questioned the timetable of the launch of A&M LLC in relation to the request of the Class II license.

The approval of the Class II license for A&M Auto LLC grants permission for the sale of no more than eight vehicles on the business property.
