Beethoven is coming to Wareham this weekend.

On Sunday, March 8 famed violinist Ariadne Daskalakis and pianist Miri Yampolsky will perform Ludwig van Beethoven: The 10 Sonatas for Violin and Piano at the Church of the Good Shepard.

Daskalakis is the creator of the Music from Land’s End Wareham festival series and a former Wareham resident. Proceeds will benefit the Wareham Public Library.

The Wareham concert is one of three scheduled across Eastern Massachusetts. By the end of the concert series, Daskalakis and Yampolsky will have performed 10 sonatas Beethoven wrote for piano and violin.

“This music is very enjoyable for any audience,” Daskalakis said. “It’s very exciting and accessible with several layers of beauty and drama.”

The concert is set to begin at 3 p.m. The Church of the Good Shepard is located at 74 High St. Admission is a donation at the door.
