Community Events Committee seeks funding applications

The Wareham Community Events Committee is now accepting funding requests for 2022 events. All funding requests received by Friday, April 22, will be discussed at the committee’s April meeting. The committee recommends applying early, as applications will only be accepted until available funds run out.
The committee aims to support programs developed by non-profit or town-sponsored organizations by providing funds for advertising, posters, postage, and t-shirts to help start and establish an event. Eligible events include school plays, home shows, musicals, movies, dances, sports and waterfront events.
