Members from Wareham CORE  (Community Outdoor Recreation Project) will be at the Historical Society's Holiday Craft Faire to raise funds for the Lopes Playground Rebuild. The Faire takes place on Saturday, November 11 from 9 am to 2 pm at the Old Methodist Meeting House on Main Street.

We will be selling glass holiday ornaments filled with sand from all of the town's beaches: Onset, Shell Point, Little Harbor, Swifts and Swifts Neck. In addition, we will be selling boxes of notecards and matted and framed photos of Onset scenes. We also will have forms to order engraved pickets or bricks that will be on the finished playground along with gift certificates.

There will be other crafters selling items such as jewelry, Native American crafts, woodworked and quilted items, seashell crafts, animal leashes, collars and more, at the Faire along with raffles from the Historical Society to fund their scholarship program.
