Cosi Restaurant in Wareham Crossing will host a fundraiser for a local marathoner in support of the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging on Wednesday, September 12, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Robert Grant, a Mattapoisett summer resident, recently ran the SSQ Quebec City Marathon in support of the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging in an effort to raise awareness about the organization, which works worldwide to help children and aging persons in need.

Cosi will donate a portion of proceeds generated during the four-hour time period to Grant's cause.
